dispute_investigation_completed

The investigation of a disputed transaction has been completed. The verdict is contained in the decision field, and if the case was not decided in the account holder's favor, the deny_reason is populated.

Trigger — The dispute investigation is finished.
Processes — These processes contain the event trigger:
- One or more transactions were disputed using the Dispute API or the CST.

Payload

ch_group_id

string

Corporate Hierarchy group identifier.

claim_id

string

Also called the case_no, this is the caseId that was returned by Create Case.

claim_reason

string

The reason for the claim. See Dispute Claim Reasons for valid values.

decision

string

The final resolution of the dispute. Valid values:

Denied — Dispute not settled in cardholder's favor.
NeverPosted — Dispute on a pending authorization that never settled.
Pay — Dispute settled in cardholder's favor.
WriteOffPay — Amount written off and awarded to cardholder.

deny_reason

string

If decision: Denied, the reason for the denial. See Dispute Deny Reasons for valid values.

dispute_amount

string

The current amount in dispute, including any recoveries or adjustments.

dispute_id

string

Dispute-system transactionId, as returned by Get Transactions.

event_ts

string

Timestamp when the message was ingested by SoFi Tech Solutions (Mountain Standard Time). Format: "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss MST". Legacy fields: timestamp, tran_timestamp.

external_customer_id

string

Identifier used to associate multiple accounts under the same customer. This identifier is supplied by the provider, not SoFi Tech Solutions.

investigation_complete_dt

string

The date on which the claim investigation was finalized. YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:dd

legacy_dispute_id

string

The dispute_id generated by the SoFi Tech Solutions system.

method

string

Event category. Indicates the type of event.

msg_event_id

string

Unique system-generated identifier for this message.

msg_id

string

The four-letter code to identify this event.

network

string

See Dispute events network codes for possible values.

prn

string

SoFi Tech Solutions 12-digit payment reference number (PRN) for the account. Legacy field: pmt_ref_no.

prod_id

string

The product ID of the account.

prog_id

string

The program ID of the account.

settle_detail_id

string

ID that maps back to the settlement record for the transaction.

transaction_id

string

External or network-assigned transaction identifier.
