mobile_activation YLP

An attempt to provision a card to a mobile wallet was unsuccessful and is on the yellow path. The cardholder must provide additional information to validate their identity, usually by providing an OTP, depending on what you have set up for yellow-path validation.

The wallet_type field contains the mobile wallet type (Apple, Google, Samsung), and the first letter of the code also indicates the wallet type:

Axxx — Apple Pay
Gxxx — Google Pay
Sxxx — Samsung Pay

Trigger — Provisioning a card to a mobile wallet fails and enters the yellow path.
Processes — These processes contain the event trigger:
- SoFi Tech Solutions performs checks in response to an authorization request over the card network rails.
- The network and the wallet provider perform checks and notify SoFi Tech Solutions when the checks fail.

One-time passcode sent to the cardholder to activate a digital wallet.

auth_id

string

System-generated ID for the authorization request. This ID is unique only per subnetwork.

cad

string

System-generated card ID, which has a 1:1 relationship with the PAN. Legacy field: card_id.

event_ts

string

Timestamp when the message was ingested by SoFi Tech Solutions (Mountain Standard Time). Format: "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss MST". Legacy fields: timestamp, tran_timestamp.

external_account_id

string

User-supplied identifier to link to an external system.

external_customer_id

string

Identifier used to associate multiple accounts under the same customer. This identifier is supplied by the provider, not SoFi Tech Solutions.

method

Event category. Indicates the type of event.

msg_event_id

Unique system-generated identifier for this message.

msg_id

The four-letter code to identify this event.

SoFi Tech Solutions 12-digit payment reference number (PRN) for the account. Legacy field: pmt_ref_no.
