denied_auth_nsf

An authorization request was denied because of insufficient funds, and the transaction was not initiated at a gas pump. (See PUMP: denied_auth_gas for denials at gas pumps.) Available balance has not changed.

Trigger — You or Galileo deny a transaction because of insufficient funds.
Processes — These processes contain the event trigger:
- SoFi Tech Solutions receives one of these messages from a card network:
  - Preauthorization request
  - Authorization request

ach_trans_id

string

Unique system-generated identifier for an ACH transaction. For BADJ and BPMT, this field may contain the auth_id of a card-load transaction.

act_type

amount

The amount of the authorization request. Includes fees and upcharges. DE004 times the conversion rate in DE009.

amount_sign

Indicates whether the value in amount is positive or negative: hyphen (-) for negative or plus sign (+) for positive. Legacy field: sign_amount.

amti

AAAU only. Amount of the transaction in cents. The amount is signed: - to debit the account and + to credit the account.

association_name

string

Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) from the linked adjustment record.

auth_id

string

System-generated ID for the authorization request. This ID is unique only per subnetwork.

auth_id_response

string

Authorization identification response, a numeric code that SoFi Tech Solutions returns to a merchant to verify that the transaction was authorized. DE038.

auth_response_code

The code returned to the merchant to indicate whether the authorization request was approved or denied as well as the reason for the denial. DE039. See Authorization Response Codes for valid values. Legacy field: response_code.

auth_tran_type

Based on DE003, processing code. Type of authorization request. See Authorization types for possible values.

auth_trans_data

Additional transaction JSON data associated with the authorization record.

avail_cash

For debit accounts, the available_balance plus available overdraft.

avail_credit

For credit accounts, the available credit limit to spend.

available_balance

card_not_present

AAAU only. Y if the physical card was not present at the transaction (card-not-present); N otherwise.

cashback_amount

Amount of the transaction that is cashback instead of purchase. This amount is included in amount.

ch_group_id

Corporate Hierarchy group identifier.

client_id

ID for the customer record.

credit_balance

For credit accounts, the total amount of unpaid purchases and advances.

credit_ind

Whether a PIN was input at the point of sale: Y (no PIN was input) or N (a PIN was input) or None (not a card transaction, or not processed as a card transaction).

financial_network_code

The financial bank card product or branding of the card. DE063SE1. Valid values: CI (Cirrus), MC (Mastercard credit), MD (Debit Mastercard), MS (Maestro), PL (Visa Plus), PV (Private Label), VI (Visa).

fund_prn

The PRN of the RTF or Corporate Credit funding account that is associated with this spending account. Legacy field: fund_pmt_ref_no.

local_currency_amount

string

Amount of the transaction in the currency at the point of sale (DE004). No fees or upcharges included. Legacy fields: local_amount, local_amt.

local_currency_code

Currency code for local_currency_amount (DE049). Legacy fields: local_curr_code, local_currency.

local_surcharge_amt

The surcharge amount (DE028) added by the merchant or ATM operator. This amount is included in amount.
