An account was closed in the Customer Service Tool. Also triggered by the Program API Recover Charged-Off Account endpoint. This event is not triggered by other account closures that are performed by other endpoints in Program API or on the Galileo-hosted cardholder website.

  • Trigger — The account status is changed to one of these statuses:

    • C — Closed
    • Z — Closed without refund

  • Processes — These processes contain the event trigger:

    • Account closure on the Account Info page in the Customer Service Tool
    • Some charge-offs in the Customer Service Tool

For debit accounts, the available_balance plus available overdraft.

For credit accounts, the available credit limit to spend.

Amount available to spend at the time of the event. Legacy field: balance.

The balance ID, also called the galileo_account_number. Legacy field: account_id.

For credit accounts, the total amount of unpaid purchases and advances.

Timestamp when the message was ingested by SoFi Tech Solutions (Mountain Standard Time). Format: "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss MST". Legacy fields: timestamp, tran_timestamp.

User-supplied identifier to link to an external system.

Identifier used to associate multiple accounts under the same customer. This identifier is supplied by the provider, not SoFi Tech Solutions.

Event category. Indicates the type of event.

Unique system-generated identifier for this message.

The four-letter code to identify this event.

SoFi Tech Solutions 12-digit payment reference number (PRN) for the account. Legacy field: pmt_ref_no.

The product ID of the account.

The program ID of the account.

The name of this event: "account_closed"
