mobile_activation API

Visa has sent an activation code after an activation attempt entered the yellow path and the cardholder followed instructions to confirm their identity. This message contains the activation code. The VAPI event code is used for all mobile wallet providers.

Trigger — Galileo receives an activation code from Visa.
Processes — These processes contain the event trigger:
- The cardholder performed steps to verify their identity by following the instructions in the xYLP message.

Payload

activation_code

string

One-time passcode sent to the cardholder to activate a digital wallet.

auth_id

string

System-generated ID for the authorization request. This ID is unique only per subnetwork.

cad

string

System-generated card ID, which has a 1:1 relationship with the PAN. Legacy field: card_id.

event_ts

string

Timestamp when the message was ingested by SoFi Tech Solutions (Mountain Standard Time). Format: "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss MST". Legacy fields: timestamp, tran_timestamp.

external_account_id

string

User-supplied identifier to link to an external system.

external_customer_id

string

Identifier used to associate multiple accounts under the same customer. This identifier is supplied by the provider, not SoFi Tech Solutions.

method

Event category. Indicates the type of event.

mobile_number

string

Mobile phone number associated with a wallet activation event.

msg_event_id

string

Unique system-generated identifier for this message.

msg_id

string

The four-letter code to identify this event.

network

passcode

string

One-time passcode to activate the card. 6 digits.

prn

string

SoFi Tech Solutions 12-digit payment reference number (PRN) for the account. Legacy field: pmt_ref_no.

prod_id

The product ID of the account.

send_type

How the passcode was sent: email or phone.

source_id

string

Internal source record ID for this event.
