In September 2026 we replaced an RDF, added card network mandates, added new fields to the Auth API, added opt-in controls, parsed more of DE048, provided act_id, fixed parameter values, updated ACH classification, added new Auth API fields, and added a new guide. Replacement RDF

We have added the Monthly Interest Savings RDF to replace the ISS RDF, which is now deprecated.

Card network mandates

We updated the Card Network Mandates guide to explain Mastercard and Visa mandates in H2 2026 that impact SoFi Tech Solutions.

New fields to support VDCAP

We added two new fields to support parsing and validating billing address tags in DE56, specifically Tag 86 and Tag 8A, on VDCAP transactions. The vdcap_info object on the Auth API now contains these fields:

account_owner_address_line_1
account_owner_postal_code

Opt-in control for two-way SMS service

For the Two-Way Messaging Service for PRP, you can now opt-in and opt-out cardholders using the Set Account Feature endpoint with featureType: 35.

Additional DE048 subelements

Upon request, we will parse SE26 (wallet ID) and SE33 (PAN Mapping File Information) from DE048 and return it in advanced_auth_api_fields in the Auth API.

Activity ID

We have added the activity ID (act_id) to three transaction-retrieval endpoints. Use the act_id to put your transactions in exact chronological order even when they have the same timestamp (post_ts).

Fixed parameter values

For the GGDPA provider parameter we corrected the values from Y/N to 1/0.

Improved ACH transaction classification

The logic behind the Create ACH Transaction endpoint has been sharpened for B2C debit transactions. When the authorization method is online or mobile, you can ensure that the SEC code is WEB and that other B2C transactions default to PPD.

New Auth API fields

We have added product_id and program_id to both versions of the Auth API webhook message.
